KC Book Group Central
The Big Read is a nationwide initiative that seeks to revitalize the role of literary reading in American popular culture—an aim that is shared by many readers who belong to book groups, both public and private. The Kansas City Public Library seeks to strengthen its relationship with readers involved in book groups through its own initiative called KC Book Group Central, a registry that will give members access to book group kits, reader’s advisory guidance, workshops, and additional reading resources. For more information about KC Book Group Central, please e-mail kcbookgroupcentral@kclibrary.org.
