The Teen Creek Book Group welcomes members to bring any book they are currently reading to discuss or choose their own title. We provide free snacks, and copies of the books are available at the desk.

Group Leader

Megan Garrett

Megan Garrett is the librarian at the Sugar Creek Branch and writes book reviews for the Independence Examiner. She has been working with children and tens at Sugar Creek since July 2007 and enjoys hosting a variety of programs for them. Her current favorite book is Looking for Alaska by John Green, although she grew up reading series like The Baby-Sitters Club, Sweet Valley High, and Fear Street. Working with teens has given her an opportunity to expand her reading horizons with authors like Brent Crawford, Meg Cabot, and Suzanne Collins.
