Megan Garrett is the librarian at the Sugar Creek Branch and writes book reviews for the Independence Examiner. She has been working with children and tens at Sugar Creek since July 2007 and enjoys hosting a variety of programs for them. Her current favorite book is Looking for Alaska by John Green, although she grew up reading series like The Baby-Sitters Club, Sweet Valley High, and Fear Street. Working with teens has given her an opportunity to expand her reading horizons with authors like Brent Crawford, Meg Cabot, and Suzanne Collins.
