Job scams

Scammers target anyone with money to spend—and this includes job seekers. Be careful to look critically at job postings. Requirements of money up front for access to the "hidden job market," an advertised salary which is much higher than that of similar positions, and vague or missing contact information may be red flags that a job opening is actually a scam.
