Lasting Light: 125 Years of Grand Canyon Photography, an exhibit of 60 framed photographs showcasing one of the most stunning landscapes on earth, is on display through Sunday, February 14, at the Central Library.

Nosotras: Portraits of Latinas, a collection of 50 photographs documenting the lives and culture of Latina immigrants in the United States, is on display.

Nosotras, Spanish for the feminine "us" or "we," was organized by Virginia Dodier, a photography historian and a Mexican-American born on the border and raised in the American West. She, like many other Hispanic women and girls, has experienced the feeling of living in two worlds.

American Classics, the fourth season of the Script-in-Hand series presented by the Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre, continues with Picnic, by Kansas native William Inge.
