Join the Friends of the Kansas City Public Library for the 6th Annual Cookbook Sale. Peruse and purchase used cookbooks, mint-condition coffee table books and a giant selection of children's holiday books.

Go green by buying pre-owned, pre-loved cookbooks! This sale is a must for those collecting 20th century recipes. In addition to vintage cookbooks, the sale features ethnic, vegetarian and celebrity-written cookbooks.

New this year: mint-condition coffee table books perfect for holiday re-gifting and a giant selection of children's holiday books priced at 50 cents each. Most books are priced under $3. "Collectible" and newer books are priced $5-15.

As a special treat local author Pete Dulin will sign his new book Last Bite: Simple recipes from Kansas City's best chefs and cooks from 10 - 11 a.m. The cookbook includes recipes, color food photography, portraits and profiles of 40 chefs and cooks in Kansas City's culinary scene.

Dulin is a freelance writer, editor, and photographer with over ten years of experience in print and online media. Based in Kansas City, he specializes in stories about food, culinary professionals, people doing impressive work, and businesses.
