Anne Pearce: A Conversation About Passport

Local artist Anne Pearce discusses her exhibit, Passport, on display in the Guldner Gallery at the Central Library through April 24. The show features contemporary works of ink, acrylic, and pencil on paper. Pearce was born in Lawrence, Kansas, and studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and Brighton Polytechnic. She received her MFA from James Madison University. Her work has been exhibited in Washington, DC; New York City; Los Angeles; and Frankfurt, Germany. The artist will be present for a pre-event reception at which the audience will have an opportunity to interact with and experience her work. A presentation and discussion of the show will follow in Helzberg Auditorium.
