Black Women Executives in Corporate America

Some of the premier leaders of Kansas City’s most successful businesses and organizations discuss their journeys to the top of their chosen professions in Black Women Executives in Corporate America on Friday, September 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Library, 14 W. 10th St.

The discussion serves as the final event complementing the photo exhibit, Women of a New Tribe. The exhibit closes September 7.

Among the panelists is Gwen Grant, CEO of the Urban League of Greater Kansas City. As the only female leader in the organization’s 87-year history, Grant has guided the Urban League since 2001. She is the co-founder of the League’s Servant Leadership Development Program providing training for more than 400 emerging leaders.
