CityBall: The Town Hall

Students, administrators, and coaches reunite to discuss what has changed in the one year since the release of CityBall, a documentary following the lives of high school athletes in the Kansas City Missouri School District.

Metro Sports hosts a town hall to mark the one year anniversary of the release of CityBall, a documentary following the lives of high school athletes in the Kansas City, Missouri School District.

Many of the student-athletes and coaches featured in CityBall will be joined by Kansas City School District officials to discuss the impact the documentary has had on the people, the schools, and the community. The town hall will be filmed and later broadcast by Metro Sports on Time Warner Cable.

Among those scheduled to participate are: Ricky Hicks, former Central High running back; Ieshia Cabine, former Paseo Academy forward; Akeem Curns, former Lincoln Prep running back; Ebony Haliburton, former Northeast High forward; Roger Franks, Lincoln Prep football head coach; Henry Newell, Central High football head coach; Kimble Anders, Kansas City Missouri School District athletic director and former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro fullback; Caleb Clifford, former Paseo Academy athletics director; Cynthia Wheeler-Linden, former Kansas City Missouri School District director of public relations; Dave Smith, former Kansas City Missouri School District board president.
