A Conversation with Eleanor Clift

The Kansas City Public Library, in cooperation with KCPT, hosts a conversation with Eleanor Clift in the program After the Election, What Comes Next? on Monday, November 10, at 7 p.m. in the Truman Forum at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St.

Clift, whose Capitol Letter column is posted weekly on websites for Newsweek and MSNBC, covers a wide range of subjects including the Washington power structure, the influence of women in politics, and the jockeying of policy in Congress. Aside from her print journalism duties, Clift is also a regular panelist on the nationally syndicated PBS show The McLaughlin Group.

With arguably one of the most hotly contested presidential races in recent history coming to a close, Kemper and Clift will discuss the historical ramifications and what the new administration might do going forward.

A 6:30 p.m. reception precedes the event. Admission is free. Click here or call 816.701.3407 to RSVP.
