Legendary CBS anchorman Dan Rather joins Kansas City Public Library Director Crosby Kemper III for a public conversation about his new memoir, Rather Outspoken: My Life in the News.

For nearly 60 years, Rather has witnessed, reported on, and sometimes been a factor in some of the biggest news stories of our time, including the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Watergate, and the Gulf War.

For 24 years Rather anchored the CBS Evening News.
