Dracula - Michael Pink and Devon Carney

This event has been canceled due to inclement weather. The vampire Dracula is one of the most immediately recognized characters in fiction, one of the movies’ most popular figures, and the object of a current TV series. But who knew he could dance? Choreographer Michael Pink and Kansas City Ballet artistic director Devon Carney hold a public conversation about the company’s Dracula, which brings Bram Stoker’s famous vampire tale to the world of dance. The production plays February 21 through March 2 at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Pink is artistic director of the Milwaukee Ballet. Carney was named to head the Kansas City Ballet in May 2013.
