Family Read Aloud Month

Building a Community of Readers is a campaign to transform our community by promoting a lifelong love of reading through expanded reading programs and activities. Our goal is for Kansas City as a whole to reap the social and economic benefits of being among the most literate cities in the nation.

Family Read Aloud Month encourages families of all ages and sizes to read stories aloud for one hour every week throughout November 2011.

Return a completed Reading Log at any Library location in order to receive one free book and a free book tote bag.
