The talk coincides with the exhibit Color in Freedom: Journey Along the Underground Railroad, on display at the Central Library through August 1, 2010.

Loewen's gripping retelling of American history as he thinks it should and could be taught continues to inspire teachers to get students to challenge, rather than memorize, their textbooks. He has been an expert witness in more than 50 civil rights, voting rights, and employment cases.
