All Library locations will be closed on Monday, February 15 in observance of Presidents' Day.
International relations scholar John Mearsheimer from the University of Chicago discusses his new book, Why Leaders Lie, a comprehensive examination of the strategic lies told in international politics.
Mearsheimer uses historical examples to explain why world leaders lie, the types of lies they tell, the circumstances that make each type of lie more or less likely, and the domestic and foreign policy costs of telling such lies.
Presented by Park University. Co-sponsored by the International Relations Council – Kansas City and the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration.
