Noontime Concert with the Kansas City Symphony
All Library locations will be closed on Monday, February 15 in observance of Presidents' Day.
A string quartet from the Kansas City Symphony provides a free lunchtime concert on Tuesday, October 14, at noon at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St.
Symphony violist Jenifer Richison and cellist Yeonsun Joo lead a string ensemble playing Haydn, Beethoven, Berlioz, and Ravel – all selections from the upcoming Symphony concert schedule. Audience members may enter a drawing for one pair of complimentary tickets to a Kansas City Symphony performance.
The Plaza Branch event is a Community Connections Concert, a Kansas City Symphony program that affords its musicians increased creative freedom thus providing a unique experience for their audience. These performances further the Symphony’s mission to advance and advocate the art of classical music for the enrichment of our community.
