Out Loud Reader's Theatre

Wednesday, October 16, 2013
7:00pm @ Central Library

Calling all teens who enjoy reading
and have a flair for the dramatic!
Out Loud is a program where teens can hang out, share dramatic readings from popular Young Adult books and scripts, and learn about acting and storytelling under the guidance of theatre professional and librarian Meghann Henry and Central Youth Services librarian Clare Hollander.

Local teens interested in reading, performing and sharing stories will bring to life the compelling and complex characters of True Grit. Their interpretation of Charles Portis’ classic Western is a part of the Library’s Big Read this fall.
WHO CAN JOIN?
• Teens ages 11-18
• Teens with an interest in performing and reading
• Teens committed to attending monthly meetings on Thursday evenings, and performances as needed.
