Bike trails, playground equipment, picnic areas, and beautiful flowers — these items (and more)are often found in well-planned parks. What would you put in a park that you designed?
Children, ages 7-10, will be assisted by volunteers from Ochsner Hare & Hare to design the park of their dreams. For inspiration, attendees are encouraged to visit Loose Park—or another favorite—prior to the event. This program is in conjunction with the exhibit Century of Legendary Places: The Legacy of Kansas City’s Hare & Hare, on display at Plaza Branch.
