A slick attorney (Richard Gere) defends an altar boy accused of murdering a priest, but realizes that he’s really not at all in charge of the case. In his first big role, Edward Norton stole the picture as the shy kid on trial. This title is recommended for adult audiences only.

In honor of its new event series on the Supreme Court and former Justice Sandra Day O’Connor's appearance, the Kansas City Public Library is offering Order in the Court!, a series of courtroom movies. The films screen on Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. throughout June 2013 in the Stanley H. Durwood Film Vault at the Central Library, 14 W. 10th St. Admission is free.
