Saturdays at Central: The Elsenpeter Marionettes present The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Saturday, April 18, 2009
4:00pm @ Central Library

On Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m., at the Central Library, 14 W. 10th St., Richard Elsenpeter and the Elsenpeter Marionettes present The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

A fourth generation puppeteer whose family business of performing spans 138 years, Elsenpeter’s form of puppetry is described as an old world style that is nostalgic and rarely seen in America because of its technical difficulties. In The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Elsenpeter features poor, bumbling Ichabod Crane, his lady love Katrina Van Tassel, Brom Bones, and the Frightening apparition of the Headless Horseman.

Admission is free. Click here or call 816.701.3407 to RSVP. Free parking is available in the Library District Parking Garage located at 10th and Baltimore.
