This is an extension of the Walk On 1 class. Participants will follow Leslie's DVD in a 2 mile walking workout that builds strength, endurance and flexibility, while boosting energy levels and super-charging your upper and lower body. This class is free and open to the public.
Get help on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. as well as Fridays from 3-5 p.m. at Plaza Branch.

A questionable court-martial ended Henry Ossian Flipper's military career in 1882—he'd be pardoned more than a century later—but it scarcely stained his place in American history. Born into slavery, Flipper rose to become the first African-American to graduate from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
