This group meets every fourth Tuesday of the month at the Mt. Washington Senior Apartments, located at 570 S. Evanston in Independence, Mo. Books provided by the Sugar Creek branch of the Kansas City Public Library, with discussions moderated by Mary Roberson.

Join us every Tuesday at 7 pm on the Children's floor for stories, crafts and a lot of imagination. 7-15 year old Graphic novel fans enjoy meeting up with each other to talk about books as well as get first hand illustrative instruction on how to create, design and illustrate your own comics. Parking is Free!
Don't worry about the weather. Come walk a mile in the comfort of air conditioning. Participants will follow Leslie Sansone DVD's to start their weight loss journey with a gentle paced 1 mile beginner walk program. Participants will increase their heart rate with low impact moves.
