The newest exhibition of the Orval Hixon Gallery, New Compositions: The Dance Portraiture of Orval Hixon, is on display from June 11, 2011 through 2013 at the Central Library, 14 W. 10th St. The exhibit features a rich selection of Hixon’s portraits, including images of some of the best-known dancers of his time.

The Way - Starring Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez

In this inspirational story about family, friends, and the challenges of life, Martin Sheen plays Tom, who comes to St. Jean Pied de Port, France to collect the remains of his adult son, killed in the Pyrenees in a storm while walking the Camino de Santiago. Rather than return home, Tom decides to embark on the historical pilgrimage himself to honor his son's desire to finish the journey. By the end of the trip, Tom sees the world in a whole new light.

This 2011 film is rated PG-13 and runs 121 minutes.
