A gathering of needlework enthusiasts! This group meets the first and third Thursday of every month and works on all kinds of needlework projects (knitting, rug hooking, crochet, applique, needlepoint, embroidery, etc.) No instruction is provided. Just bring a project and have fun!

The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) literacy program uses therapy animals to improve children's reading and communication skills. Join the R.E.A.D. team at the Waldo Branch the second Saturday each month between September 2015 and April 2016 (excluding December and January) as children read the pooches some prose. Children may sign up for a 10-minute slot each Saturday. Parents must sign a release form before children will be allowed to read with one of the dogs.

Oh My Teen discusses Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and other Alice spin-off stories in teen literature. Arrive ready to play croquet, paint the roses red, drink tea, cosplay, and enjoy good conversation with mad people.

Oh My Teen book group is a program for teens that meets the second Tuesday of every month at the Trails West branch. Copies are available for request or checkout at the branch library.
