Get ready for NaNoWriMo in November with Camp NaNoWriMo in July! Join us for an hour-long write-in session for teens where you can write, do word sprints, compete with each other, talk about writing projects, and share ideas for NaNoWriMo in November.
The Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.) literacy program uses therapy animals to improve children's reading and communication skills. Join the R.E.A.D. team at the Waldo Branch on July 9 as children read the pooches some prose. Children may sign up for a 10-minute slot. Parents must sign a release form before children will be allowed to read with the dog.
