We provide stories and activities for children newborn to 18 months of age.

Preschool age kids (3-5) will enjoy stories, songs, and art in this storytime.

This story time and play group promotes literacy in children with the participation of caring family members in activities that explore the world of language using stories, songs, and crafts.
Today our stories and craft will feature "Fire-Breathing Dragons!"

Join us on the first Saturday of every month (June–October) as the Friends of the Kansas City Public Library present the sixth annual City Market Summer Book Sale, from 9 a.m.–2 p.m.

Children and parents are invited to listen to fun stories in our children's area. We will be giving out coloring pages, stickers, and balloons.

Watch movies, play games, talk about books, manga video games and help plan library events while having lots of fun.
