Teens will learn how to choose healthy foods and prepare healthy meals! Students will learn about the USDA MyPlate and the five food groups through fun games and activities. Students will learn the basics of cooking by preparing yummy recipes of healthy meals and snacks. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a graduation certificate and their very own Kids in the Kitchen cookbook!

Limited to 15 participants.

Oh My Teen discusses The 5th Wave by Rick Yancy. Oh My Teen book group is a program for teens that meets the second Tuesday of every month at the Trails West branch. Copies are available for request or checkout at the branch library.
