Let us be your guide into the exciting high fantasy world of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. We wish to introduce new and experienced players to the pen and paper role-playing games, show them how to get the most out of this hobby and meet local players.

What You'll Be Doing/Learning:

  • The rules of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition.
  • Build fantastical characters.
  • Work within a group to defeat monsters and clear dungeons.
  • Run your own games as a Dungeon Master.
  • Apply basic painting techniques to character miniatures.

The Library’s 10th season of Script-in-Hand performances concludes with an original Shakespeare-inspired production – a collage of readings of some of the Bard’s greatest texts, scene enactments, and images of text from the First Folio. Created by Karen Paisley, the Metropolitan Ensemble Theatre’s producing artistic director, the production highlights popular and well-known passages while flushing out older, more obscure ones, introducing and reintroducing Shakespeare in a visceral and exciting way.
