Looking for some good reads, new music, or a movie or two to enjoy this summer and fall? On the first Saturday of the month from August through October, in the atrium north of Steamboat Arabia at the City Market, the Friends of the Kansas City Public Library are selling an array of books and other items for a mere $1 to $2. Choose from recently published hardback fiction, nonfiction, popular young adult, and audio books; soft-cover books for all ages; DVDs; and CDs. Some “special finds” are priced at $5 and up.
