Visit a small part of the Kansas City Zoo at the library! Designed to reach all ages, our Zoo Educators will share information about the animal kingdom and the Zoo in an effort to create a positive connection between your audience and wildlife. Presented with 3 animal ambassadors and touchable animal artifacts, audience members will get an up close opportunity to experience animals in new and memorable ways.

Families who can't make it to the Library during the day can enjoy this evening storytime. We will read great books, sing songs, and have a fun craft.

We provide stories and activities for children newborn to 18 months of age.

Children ages 2-5 will enjoy stories, songs, and crafts.

Fossils- Make a plaster fossil.

Ages 8- 12yrs. Space and supplies are limited! All crafts are first come first serve.

Come play games with your friends and make interesting crafts.

Bring toddlers ages 18-36 months for a 20 minute storytime, followed by a fun activity in the Art Spot.
