September is back-to-school month, so it's a great time to learn how to use a sewing machine. As well, it's a great opportunity at Westport Library to learn the technique of hand sewing, how to follow a pattern or how to sew buttons on and other basic repairs.

Teens will learn how to choose healthy foods and prepare healthy meals! Students will learn about the USDA MyPlate and the five food groups through fun games and activities. Students will learn the basics of cooking by preparing yummy recipes of healthy meals and snacks. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a graduation certificate and their very own Kids in the Kitchen cookbook!
