A gathering of needleworks enthusiasts! This group meets every Thursday and works on all kinds of needlework projects (knitting, rug hooking, crochet, applique, needlepoint, embroidery, etc.) No instruction is provided. Just bring a project and have fun!

The Paul Mesner Puppets presents a veggie wonderful love story about two avid gardeners, Okra and Romaine, who meet, marry, and have a beautiful daughter named Rapunzel. An evil witch, who forced Romaine to promise that he would give up his first-born child many years before, returns to claim the lovely child for her own. Rapunzel is taken to live in a tower and her future looks bleak until the Prince arrives, and Rapunzel hatches a plan to escape her evil captor and leaf happily ever alfalfa.

Bring your favorite stuffed friend for this epic adventure. We’ll read fun stories and then turn our stuffed animals into superheroes. You can choose to leave your stuffed animal with Miss Kristan for a superhero sleepover.

Friday, June 26 between 4-5pm: If children cannot attend the storytime at 11am, parents can drop off the stuffed animal to Miss Kristan.

Saturday, June 27, starting at 10am: Parents and children will be able to pick up their stuffed friends and see some of the adventures that happened during the sleepover.
