A gathering of needleworks enthusiasts! This group meets every Thursday and works on all kinds of needlework projects (knitting, rug hooking, crochet, applique, needlepoint, embroidery, etc.) No instruction is provided. Just bring a project and have fun!

Compete against other teens on the Wii to duel on Super Smash Brawl, Mario Party, Mario Kart, and other Wii games. We'll also have a PS4 and Xbox 360 systems and board games available for when you're waiting for your turn. All game systems will be simultaneously in play until approximately 6:00 pm.

Several of our branches will be holding a lock-in tailored specifically to their communities. There will be programming, games, dancing, food, and a different educational component to each branch. Through digital media we will connect each of the branch lock-ins so it will take place virtually across the whole city! This event is a part of the Mayor's Nights summer event series.

Let us be your guide into the exciting high fantasy world of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition. We wish to introduce new and experienced players to the pen and paper role-playing games, show them how to get the most out of this hobby and meet local players.

What You'll Be Doing/Learning:

  • The rules of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition.
  • Build fantastical characters.
  • Work within a group to defeat monsters and clear dungeons.
  • Run your own games as a Dungeon Master.
  • Apply basic painting techniques to character miniatures.
