Hollywood enters the new year, as usual, with a spate of scheduled movie remakes – from the vigilante drama Death Wish (due in March) to the fourth incarnation of A Star Is Born (in May).
Before seeing them at the multiplex, take in earlier iterations of those films and two others that are being readapted or rebooted. A new Death Wish comes out in March; The Crow’s return is not yet set.
