Love in the Land of Dementia is an intergenerational and inspirational performance that explores such complex issues as loss and change, flexibility and acceptance, and the difficulty of connecting with loved ones who have Alzheimer's disease. These stories offer insight, information, and hope to families, friends, and caregivers.

In cooperation with the Rime Buddhist Center, the Kansas City Public Library welcomes a touring group of Buddhist monks from the Drepung Gomang Monastery in India for construction of a sand mandala—a weeklong process that starts on Sunday, March 29—in Kirk Hall at the Central Library, 14 W. 10th St.

On Thursday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St., acclaimed author Jeff Guinn debunks some of the glamorous myths of America’s first celebrity couple of crime with his book Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde.
