Jolie Justus has represented Kansas City’s 10th District in the Missouri State Senate since 2006. She holds leadership roles as vice chair of the Progress and Development Committee, vice chair of the Healthy Missourians 2020 Committee, and as ranking Democrat on the Judiciary and Civil and Criminal Jurisprudence Committee.
Born in Kansas City and raised in Branson, Justus earned her undergraduate degree from Southwest Missouri State University and her juris doctorate from the UMKC School of Law. She works as director of Pro Bono Services for the law firm of Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP.
