Bach Aria Soloists Performs Music Inspired by Literature at Kansas City Public Library

The Kansas City Public Library hosts the classical music ensemble Bach Aria Soloists for a performance called "Musical Tales, featuring Ferdinand the Bull," on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. at the Central Library, 14 W. 10th St.
The Bach Aria Soloists brings to life the humor and drama of the cherished children's classic Ferdinand the Bull with music by English composer Alan Ridout, performed by violinist Elizabeth Suh Lane and further interpreted by actor Stuart Rider.
This performance includes musical and theatrical interpretations of Roger Quilter compositions based on Shakespeare's "As You Like It," as well as Franz Schubert's "Die Spinnrade," based on Goethe poems.
The Bach Aria Soloists includes: Artistic Director Suh Lane on violin, Beau Bledsoe on guitar, Elisa Bickers on harpsichord, and soprano Rebecca Lloyd.
