Poet and Griot Kwabena Dinizulu Performs Aesop to Hip Hop

Poet and griot Kwabena Dinizulu performs Aesop to Hip Hop for the next Saturday’s at Central program on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Central Library, 14 W. 10th St.

 

In Aesop to Hip Hop, Dinizulu uses fables, folk tales, poetry, and proverbs to

weave an entertaining presentation for young audiences that addresses subjects critical to character development and cultural understanding.

 

Dinizulu is a critically acclaimed, nationally known performance artist, poet, and griot. Dinizulu has performed for over two decades in various schools, Libraries, and community centers and has captivated, educated, and entertained audiences of all ages.
