StoneLion Puppets Are Back for Friday Night Family Fun

Performers with the renowned StoneLion Puppet Theatre return to the Kansas City Public Library, on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 6:30 p.m. for a Friday Night Family Fun event at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St.

Their madcap musical presentation - "The Lab Rat Science Experiment" - features StoneLion, super genius Einstein R Rat, and a science experiment gone terribly and hilariously wrong. Offering youngsters an entertaining introduction to magnetic attraction, the three states of matter, and other science concepts, it follows the science-related theme of the Library's Summer Reading Program, which runs through August 2.

The Kansas City-based StoneLion Puppet Theater company appears frequently at the Library, and has entertained and educated both the young and young at heart since 1993.

The event, recommended for preschoolers through 6th graders, is free. RSVP at kclibrary.org or call 816.701.3407.
