Vietnam War Veteran and Peace Advocate Mike Ferner Discusses Windows and Mirrors: Reflections on the War in Afghanistan

Vietnam War veteran and Interim Director of Veterans for Peace Mike Ferner presents A Veteran's Reflections on the Windows and Mirrors Exhibit on Sunday, November 13, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Central Library, 14 W. 10th St.

Windows and Mirrors: Reflections on the War in Afghanistan - an exhibit featuringpanels created by international artists and American students to help viewers imagine the experiences of Afghan civilians - is on display November 12 - December 31 at the Central Library.

Ferner, author of Inside the Red Zone: A Veteran for Peace Reports from Iraq, has visited Iraq twice. In 2010 he traveled to Afghanistan with a Voices for Creative Nonviolence delegation.

The event is co-sponsored by the American Friends Service Committee.
