Writers at Work Series Returns With Conversation Between Kansas City's Whitney Terrell and The Outlaw Album Author Daniel Woodrell

Winter's Bone author Daniel Woodrell discusses his new collection of short stories, The Outlaw Album, in a conversation led by Kansas City's own Whitney Terrell on Thursday, November 17, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Library, 14 W. 10th St.

The Outlaw Album includes the stories of a husband who cruelly avenges the killing of his wife's pet, and an injured rapist who is cared for by a young girl until she reaches her breaking point.

Admission is free. A 6 p.m. reception precedes the event. RSVP online or call 816.701.3407. Free parking is available at the Library District Parking Garage at 10th & Baltimore.

The event is organized by Whitney Terrell and co-sponsored by the Writers at Work Round Table.
