Jane Wood joined Park University as an associate professor and chair of the English department in 2006. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and both master’s and doctoral degree from the University of Kansas. She recently published The Theme of Peace and War in Virginia Woolf’s War Writings (2010). She is a past president of the board of directors of the Unicorn Theatre and serves as co-chair of the Governance Committee for The Writers Place.
SYNOPSIS: Tom sneaks away from the campsite while Huck and Joe sleep, leaving them to eavesdrop on Aunt Polly back home. He spies on Aunty Polly and Mrs. Harper as both grieve over their lost boys, thought drowned.
