Paul Smith has served as the lead coordinator for The Big Read at the Kansas City Public Library since 2009. Earlier this year, Library Journal designated him as a “Mover & Shaker,” which recognizes those in the library profession doing extraordinary work to serve their users and move library services forward.
SYNOPSIS: While Tom and Becky attend a picnic and then venture into McDougal’s Cave, Huckleberry overhears Injun Joe and the Spaniard plotting to attack the Widow Douglas. Heroism ensues.
