The Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners Take Us Behind the Scenes of the Tabulation Room

The campaigning is over. The polls have closed.

Now what?

Let representatives of the Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners answer that question in Behind the Scenes of the Tabulation Room on Thursday, July 12, 2012, at 3 p.m. at the Plaza Branch, 4801 Main St.

This session follows the voting memory cards as they are brought to the Election Board and uploaded into the system. Participants will learn the difference between official and unofficial results, and how final results are calculated.

This is one of a series of public forums on elections presented by the KCEB and the Library this spring and summer.
