The 2017 Art in the Loop Project: Cue!, a curated outdoor exhibition staged in partnership with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, and KC Streetcar, wraps up with a reception, a pop-up exhibit, and a final round of performances.
The Central Library’s fifth-floor Helzberg Auditorium becomes a gallery for the evening, highlighting Art in the Loop projects featured from May to September. Video screenings further recall the diverse offerings. And selected artists present their works.
Art in the Loop is designed to make cultural experiences available to downtown residents, visitors, and workers. The closing event is co-presented by the Kansas City Public Library, Downtown Council, the Municipal Art Commission of Kansas City, Missouri, KC Streetcar, and the City of Kansas City’s Office of Culture and Creative Services.
