Reading for Recovery!

Teresa Shockley, 16 years old of Kansas City, is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award Project: Reading for Recovery. The Gold Award is the highest award in Girl Scouts equivalent to the Boy Scout's Eagle Scout. Only 5.4% of eligible Girl Scouts get their Gold Award. This Girl Scout Gold Award Project encourages the use of reading to help those dealing with difficulties in their lives.
