Coverage varies by state for the senatorial and gubernatorial elections, but the presidential elections covers 1789–2012. This site provides detailed information on not only the two main political parties, but the big three Third parties—Constitution, Green and Libertarian, and smaller Third parties such as the Prohibition Party, the Piraty Party and the Socialist Workers Party. It even covers "other parties" that have yet to endorse or field any candidate for office, such as the American Eagle Party and the Canary Party. Interesting stuff.
