Greg Hurd introduces his documentary, From Separate to Equal: The Creation of Truman Medical Centers, a collaboration with Kevin Willmott. Scheduled to air on KCPT in April, the documentary tells the history of Kansas City’s black health care pioneers and their efforts, which eventually led to the integration of several health care systems that formed Truman Medical Centers.
