Park Quartet Performs Debussy and Dvorak
The Park String Quartet from Park University will perform music by composers Debussy and Dvořák. Claude Debussy was a French composer who was often referred to as the first Impressionist composer. Debussy developed his own style of harmony and orchestral coloring. Dvořák was a Czech composer who frequently employed rhythms and other aspects of the folk music of Bohemia in his compositions. Arguably the most versatile composer of his time, Dvořák created operas, chamber music, choral ensemble pieces and more.
