Joy Monzón will guide 60 minute practice detailing the foundations and essential elements of the path of yoga. With a focus on listening into and moving from the anatomical systems of the body (skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, endocrine), one can expect a welcoming environment that honors individual agency and intuition of one's body, mind and spirit. Each practice is accommodated and adaptable to the needs of each participant regardless of age, size, ability, race, gender or economic status.
Joy Monzón(she/her) is a meditation and yoga instructor based in Kansas City. Although adaptable and ever changing, Joy's practice is a dedication to bridging the gap between East and West through iterating yogic history, technique and philosophy. Highlighting the many rich and beautiful facets of yoga, it is Joy's hope that this awakening to the versatility of yoga encourages others to pursue the inherent accessibility of this sacred practice.
