The Swope Health Services Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) is at Central (on the west side/Baltimore St.) the fourth Tuesday of each month from 9:00 am-12:00 pm providing services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Clients may enroll in the Homeless Program/Outreach Services on the MMU and may also meet with a medical provider.

Services include Rapid HEP C and HIV Tests, Blood Pressure Screenings, and A1C Screenings. They also treat Basic Acute Healthcare Needs, Treatment of non-emergency illnesses and injuries, Prescription Refills, and Follow-up Visits. Flu Shots/Vaccines will be provided when in season. We can refer for COVID testing, but the MMU is a well clinic and we will not see anyone with symptoms of COVID or COVID-like symptoms on routine Mobile Medical Unit outreaches. Case management is provided on a limited basis to those coming onto the MMU.

Referrals will be made for Optometry, Dental, and other medical services not provided on the MMU such as labs and radiology. For more information, call 816.599.5480 or visit www.swopehealth.org.
